Our Complimentary Introductory Meeting

Our introductory meeting is meant to share with you how exactly we help our clients. We also want to learn about how you got where you are in your life and what you are looking for to move to the next stage in your life. If we feel we can help you, we will let you know how. If we feel that another firm might be a better fit, we will gladly tell you why.

There is no cost for the introductory meeting!

We understand that MoneyCoach might not be for everybody, however we like to help everybody we come across. If your needs are a better fit for another firm, we might be able to introduce you to someone else.

Who normally benefits from your services?

Professionals and business owners that are too busy to figure out everything that they need to know. We then become their guide to a financially secure future and more fulfilled life.
We also have many clients that are faced with the complexities of retirement. We help them determine how to use their benefits, Medicare, Social Security… and make them maximize their hard-earned money.

How do you determine if I am a good fit?

The most important aspect we are looking for in a new client is actually their will to make a change. If you are trying to build wealth and can’t seem to get anywhere, we might be able to help you make necessary changes. If you are getting closer to retirement and feeling overwhelmed with everything you need to figure out, we will be able to guide you through it.
That is really it!

How does the Wealth Building Game Plan work?

We start by analyzing your current situation. Once we have a clear picture of where you are and where you want to be in 5-10 years and over the long-term, we put a step by step plan to help you make your goals a reality.
Don’t worry, we know things can change. Like in sports, you have to adjust to anything that can happen; and stuff will happen! The plan is fluid. If your goals change, we will adjust your plan accordingly.
What makes our idea of a financial plan different is the accountability and support we will give you. Change is not easy, but we have plenty of tricks up our sleeves to help you make it happen.

Are you fiduciaries?

Yes and that’s the only way we would do our job. We want to take the responsibility of your financial success on our shoulders. That can only be done if we are giving you advice that is in your best interest. To us, it’s just common sense!

Do you have minimums?

We don’t! If you are only starting, we can help you as well. The amount of assets someone has is not a prerequisite to become a client of MoneyCoach. We are looking for people that want help and support. They might have tried to control their money in the past and it didn’t work or they know they need guidance to become financially secure.

I know nothing about personal finance, can you help me?

We would love to! An important part of what we do is to educate our clients. We have the heart of a teacher and will spend the time you need to feel comfortable with the recommendations we will be giving you. Over time, we promise to make you a savvy investor!

Can you help me with goals other than retirement planning?

Life is much more than retirement. We believe that people shouldn’t wait for retirement to live life. And we don’t just say it, we did it!!! Patrick’s family moved to Charleston to live a better life. We will help you get the most out of life, now and in the future.

Where are your clients’ assets?

We use TD/Ameritrade Institutional as our custodian. Once you become a client with them, you simply give us the permission to trade your account for you. The company is the leader in helping independent Registered Investment Advisors with their business. Please don’t send money directly to us! 😊

Do we need to meet in person?

At the beginning of our relationship, we will meet often and in person. There are a lot of things to share and we want to make sure we get you started quickly. However, we understand you are busy with family activities, work and life. We will find out how to accommodate your needs the best way we can.

Do you have quotas to hit?

NO! We don’t have shareholders to please. We don’t want financial-company kick-backs to incentivize us to sell their products. We got rid of all conflicts of interest to be better aligned with you, the client.

How do you make money?

Depending on the scope of work, we get paid in different ways:

Wealth Management

% of Investements

Our main source of revenue is a percentage of the asset under management. We have created proprietary tactical models. Doing it in house enables us to control cost. We also can diversify through by using other managers part of our network. However, our services do not stop with investments. Where our conversations can lead are just too many to state here.

MoneyCoaching Agreement


For the ones with less than $150,000 in assets, we request an additional fee. We believe in finding people that want our help. The MoneyCoaching Agreement enable us to give our time to people with less assets while supporting our families. Depending on your needs, this fee can be just a little more than a dollar a day

Insurance Needs


We are big proponents of self-insurance. However, for the instances where insurance is needed to secure your nest egg, we will teach you how to use it effectively. From experience, we learned that we need to make it easy for our clients to purchase their needed insurance. In the end, we don’t want their plan to fail because they didn’t have the time to secure insurance they needed! Feel free to ask us how much we make when we help with an insurance transaction. We have nothing to hide.
